SPECIAL NOTICE TO ALL ENTERTAINERS
SOUND REQUIREMENTS
It is recommended that you choose a professional DJ/sound company for your entertainment. Because we are an outdoor venue, specific guidelines are set forth in an effort to be mindful of our commercial & residential neighbors. Please note our guidelines so that you and your guest may enjoy your event. The Rooftop does have an installed sound system which may be used (Standard XLR connections are present) for background music. The Rooftop sound guidelines are as follows:
· DJ/sound equipment may not exceed up to four (4) speakers (No bass cabinets or subs may be used)
· It is recommended that all sound be elevated by using speaker stands
· Sound may not exceed an SPL, as determined by Rooftop staff, to be excessive
Music with offensive lyrics/content is strictly prohibited
· The City Of Rockville and its officials shall have the final word when governing sound restrictions
